Caroline Wall
b. 1989 | Sweden
Caroline Wall is a visual artist who primarily works with painting, aiming to explore different states of minds and how abstraction can occur naturally in memory and dreams. The nature of her work reflects upon relationships, the unseen and the passing of time.
Painting variably with oil, acrylic and aquarelle on larger and small scales alike, she extracts compositions from layers of diluted color. The meticulous layering creates some form of ‘innerlandscape’, in the meeting point of abstraction and figuration. Wall holds a master in Psychology from Lund University, and has studied Design and visual communication at Malmö University. Wall currently lives and works in Malmö, Sweden.
