Juan Perdiguero Trillo and Irene

Juan Perdiguero Trillo

b. 1996 | Aranda de Duero, Spain
Juan Perdiguero Trillo is interested in the intersection and friction between established rituals and dogmas. Throughout his career, we can see how he explores symbolism and color, drawing significant references and influences from past centuries as well as from his own memories and experiences. His work is deeply rooted in Iberian art, religious iconography, and architecture. Friendship, unity, and the pursuit of freedom serve as the pillars of his work.

From an early age, he became involved in the graffiti movement in his hometown. Later, his interest in painting led him to enroll in and graduate from the University of Fine Arts of Salamanca (USAL). He is currently an active member of the NVS collective and lives and works between his hometown and Lisbon, Portugal.
